VIPOSA1 STACK=&1(C,C,8),IPA=&2(C,C,64) SNMP request &3(C,C,8) timeout
Description: The specified SNMP request experienced a timeout condition. It may be that:
1. SNMP cannot be reached at the combination of IPA and PORT parameters, perhaps because SNMP is down. Or …
2. The combination of the TIMEOUT and RETRY parameters is insufficient. Or …
3. The COMM(unity name) parameter is wrong.
If the SNMP request is some variation of a LRN request, the learning of the OSA configuration by the SNMP miner may be defficient. Otherwise the OSA miner failed to gather some type of OSA information during a collection interval. The OSA miner will attempt to limit this message to not more than once every 60 minutes.
Action:
1. Make sure that SNMP is running
2. Inspect and correct VIPOSA1 parameters.
3. Reload VIPOSA1.
