tcpip component: Buffer size is sizeM; maximum is maxM
Description: VIP makes use of the TCPIP stack’s component trace buffers for the SYSTCPDA, SYSTCPSM, and SYSTCPCN components. It is important that the buffers be large enough so that VIP can process the data before the buffer wraps. This message is printed for each of the three components VIP is concerned with, for each stack VIP monitors, at the time of stack discovery. It is also printed if the size changes.
Action: None required. SDS recommends a minimum size of 64M for the SYSTCPDA component. If the size shown is less than 64M, consider reconfiguring the BUFSIZ parameter in parmlib member CTIEZBxx.
