The following return code on a VTAM LU OPEN request very possibly indicates that the requested VTAM LU is not active or is already in use:
R00=0x00000950 R15=0x00000008 received for macro OPEN
VIPMONM is the default VTAM LU name for a VIP agent.
That LU name (the VTAM APPL ID) is specified in the member hlq.VIPINST(VIPPARM1), at the parameter VIPAPPL. The same name is specified in the member hlq.agentname.VIPnnn.VIPINST(VIPVTAM).
