VIP Messages

To search for a message, enter a message number in the search box at right. Use only the alpha prefix and the first four numeric digits (including any leading zeros) in the format prefixnnnn OR nnnn. For example, LOG0102 or simply 0102. Or you can search on any message text.

In logs and consoles:
VIPOUT message numbers are in the form VIPnnnnllllMS
VIPLOG message numbers are in the form LOGnnnnllllMS
where:
nnnn = message number
llll =  a subsequent line number for a multi-line message (usually 0000 in most messages; omit this from your search here)
M = Message
S = severity: Information, Error, Warning, Change, None (X)

Server messages do not have specific message numbers. Enter “server” or any message text in the search box.

Message numbers SDS* and SMR* are not described here. They are generated by the SDS Common Infrastructure (SCI), a tool set that serves multiple SDS products. Those messages are documented at https://support.sdsusa.com/sdsci/.
